Long time, no blog.
It's been crazy at work recently. Had lots to do. We've had a new version of Max out for some time now, but haven't really been in a position to start using it. However, after something like a couple of months of serious systems work, we now have quite a nice, brand new hardware setup that we've deployed on, and are starting to use. So, it's nice to get that out of the way.
Last Monday was a Bank Holiday, and David and Kathryn kindly let me tag along on a car trip through the South East and back. Luckily for
me, David has already written it up, as well as posting a gallery of photos, so I don't have to do any work. Check out my my very best "disgruntled old man" facial expression!
Finally, Jake stopped by on his way between Cairo and Calgary this weekend, so we managed to satisfy his theatre craving by going and seeing The Woman in Black, which was great, especially given that Jake jumps like a girl when scared. (Not that I can talk - I'm sure Jake will tell you about the time we went to see Jurassic Park. Which, by strange coincidence, was the soundtrack of the day played on the radio
on Monday's road trip.) Also had a great weekend just hanging out with the usual crowd - can't beat that!
