The sad thing is, that about sums it up at the moment! Except that I had a nice pasta for breakfast, because I got up at 3pm today (after working 1pm-9am yesterday) and met Cathy in town for dinner, before heading in to work for a 9pm start. Lousy out-of-hours work that needs to be done.

So, I know it's really not that bad, but it does seem like I'm not doing much other than just working at the moment. Hopefully the bulk of the work I'm doing at the moment will be finished soon, so I can take a couple of days off, or something...

Cathy and I went with David and Kathryn to the van Ruisdael exhibition at the Royal Academy on Monday (as it was a Bank Holiday). Yay for holidays! Oh, and the exhibition was great too!

Monbiot has a good post, pointing out what is, if you think about it, a basically obvious link between food and crime.

Nevertheless, it still scares me sometimes that what we think, how we act - in essence, who we are - is dependent to a certain degree on the balance of chemicals sloshing about in our bodies, and that this balance can be changed simply by altering what we eat.

That's not something that I like to think about, especially when it concerns what happens in my head.
