Things that are getting me down: - People that don't think like I do. I know that not everyone thinks the same way, and generally that's a good thing. But there are times when I just wish everyone was able to comprehend the concept of doing things the right way, and properly, the first time. (Yes, I think there's a difference between doing things the right way, and doing things properly.)
- Being stretched too thinly. I had a fantastic 4 day weekend just a few days ago, with David at the Silverstone F1 GP, and it only took a few days at work to undo all the good it did me. We've got some new staff starting on Monday, which will help, but for various reasons (many of them not the fault of anyone at work), I still feel like a need a clone or two just to keep up, let alone get ahead.
- The fact that I *still* haven't managed to get a gallery up yet.
- Getting stuck on the tube for an hour yesterday, and then having to walk quite a way.
- London crowds. Well, not really - they don't exist. There's just a lot of people who are all walking their own way, without any regard for who is around them, or how they might move (or, often as not, stand) in such a way as to not cause huge jams of people that simply can't go anywhere.
- Feeling tired and run down and sick.
Things that are helping me live: - New flat. Lots of space, and the fact that almost everything is unpacked, and put away.
- Funny stuff. Via Jake's blog. Especially Sailor Moon. Although, Jake, I can't believe you didn't link: Transformers, The Muppets, Voltron, Pokemon, and (although slightly off the genre), Final Fantasy.
- I'm finally going to get a haircut today. It's just too long at the moment, and a cut will help. Yes, yes, so I'm a little vain. I don't care.
- The fact that Cathy's back from a week in the US later today!
