I am really looking forward to a relaxing day today!
This weekend kicked off on Friday, as Cathy and I drove up to Thetford Forest to see the Pet Shop Boys play, which was pretty darn cool.
Actually, it was pretty darn hot, and yesterday was the same, but with even more humitidy - which wasn't great, as I had to go and find a suit for a wedding next weekend. On the same day that everyone else decided to go to the Summer sales, apparently. Yuck. Oh well, got the suit and some other clothes too, so it wasn't too bad.
Today finally feels like we're in for some relief from the heat, so, I think I'll go and buy a DVD player, and sit in front of the TV. (Our NTL has been down for about 2 weeks now, due to them not turning up to fix it last weekend, and my being inflexible about being willing to sit at home all day again for them. They are supposed to come tomorrow evening, so we'll see...)
